Creating Healthy Habits is building new lifestyle changes that are sustainable in the long term. It is not a diet or a program that you follow for 3 months to lose weight, only to gain it back once you stop. It is not about being told what to do. It is empowering you with the skills, knowledge and awareness needed in order to create the sustainable lifestyle change that you want for yourself and your life. 

Creating sustainable lifestyle change is not easy for anyone. There are many diets, programs and plans on the market for people to follow in order to lose weight, get fit, tone up etc. but how many provide a holistic approach to creating lifestyle change that is sustainable in the long term? Anyone can follow a plan for 3, 6 even 12 months but what happens once you stop following the plan? Being told what to do and how to do it doesn’t create sustainable change. In order to create sustainable change, you must make your own decisions around what is best for you and your goals. 

Catch a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.

Creating Healthy Habits takes a holistic approach to lifestyle change, covering hydration, intuitive eating, stress, sleep, movement, rest, nutrition and exercise. It explores themes around awareness, balance, mindfulness, obstacles and barriers, sustainability, mindset, positivity, accountability, support, rewards, values and goals. Coaching principles and methods are evidenced based including positive psychology, coaching psychology, motivational interviewing, mindfulness and behavioral psychology. 

Every individual has different needs so there is no cookie cutter approach or solution that suits everyone. This is creating a plan to suit you, your lifestyle and the goals you wish to achieve.
